Balcano – Music of the Balkans

Live at the Vanguard as the Sunday Sessions resident band this September (only 13, 20 & 27 September)

Balcano is an exciting fusion of Greek, Serbian and Balkan Gypsy music, crossing cultural and political boundaries
and blending brass and gaida with bouzouki and baglama. The sound is big, the dance rhythms exciting.

Expect to hear traditional tunes, Bulgarian and Hungarian gypsy music and contemporary Greek and Serbian
songs complemented by the Vanguards sumptuous food and atmosphere.
